Welcome to the Queanbeyan High website.

Our school is proud to be a public school: we are a comprehensive, coeducational, multicultural 7-12 school in the fastest growing city in NSW.
We are a medium size community school with 450 students and 40 teachers.

We cater for all students and work hard to ensure all students achieve their personal best, whatever their aspirations.

Innovative programs that operate in the school include:

• the Personal Best Program for students who want to be challenged and encouraged in their learning,
• the Personal Best Bonus Assessment tasks which means students should never feel locked into a program of assessment and can negotiate addition tasks to improve their results.
• The College Program that reduces HSC stress and gives greater subject choice to students.
• A Trade School specialising in metal and engineering in which students can complete the first year of a metals trade certificate.

We promote 21st Century learning skills, the use of technology, gifted and talented teaching and learning.
