Who,What,Where, if my child is absent
ABSENCE FROM
SCHOOL
As a government requirement, after an absence students must give their roll
teacher a signed and dated note. It should be written on a full sheet of paper,
be signed by a parent or guardian, and specify:
Full Name
Year
Roll Group
Date(s) of Absence
Reason for Absence
The government also requires that all absences be explained within 7
days although the school requests that a note be brought in immediately
a student returns. Failure to submit a note is an UNSATISFACTORY
absence.
If illness stops you attending for more than 3 days in a row, your
parent/guardian should ring and tell the school.
